Coimbatore is more than its industrial heritage. Tucked between the busy junctions are a handful of green spaces that are worth an hour of your day.
1. VOC Park
A 10-minute auto from the railway station. Best visited at sunrise for the morning walk, with a mini zoo and toy train for families. Entry is nominal.
2. TNAU Botanical Garden
Inside the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University campus. Open during weekdays, a quieter alternative to VOC with mature trees and shaded paths.
3. Bharathi Park
Walking distance from the city centre. Smaller and more local — good for an after-dinner stroll under string lights.
